在这里我们可以清楚地看到，在皇家狩猎活动的同质化过程中，直接观察与动物专家的流动发挥了怎样的作用。除此之外，这篇佳文也是一段清晰而准确的罕见——甚至可以说是独特的——叙述，为我们复刻了中世纪跨文化传播的一幕场景，而叙述者恰恰就是这一传播过程的主要推进者。
