Chapter 23
23:1 [hgb] 巴 兰 对 巴 勒 说 ， 你 在 这 里 给 我 筑 七 座 坛 ， 为 我 预 备 七 只 公 牛 ， 七 只 公 羊 。 [kjv] And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven oxen and seven rams. [bbe] And Balaam said to Balak, Make me here seven altars and get ready seven oxen and seven male sheep. 23:2 [hgb] 巴 勒 照 巴 兰 的 话 行 了 。 巴 勒 和 巴 兰 在 每 座 坛 上 献 一 只 公 牛 ， 一 只 公 羊 。 [kjv] And Balak did as Balaam had spoken; and Balak and Balaam offered on every altar a bullock and a ram. [bbe] And Balak did as Balaam had said; and Balak and Balaam made an offering on every altar of an ox and a male sheep. 23:3 [hgb] 巴 兰 对 巴 勒 说 ， 你 站 在 你 的 燔 祭 旁 边 ， 我 且 往 前 去 ， 或 者 耶 和 华 来 迎 见 我 。 他 指 示 我 什 么 ， 我 必 告 诉 你 。 于 是 巴 兰 上 一 净 光 的 高 处 。 [kjv] And Balaam said unto Balak, Stand by thy burnt offering, and I will go: peradventure the LORD will come to meet me: and whatsoever he sheweth me I will tell thee. And he went to an high place. [bbe] Then Balaam said to Balak, Take your place by your burned offering, and I will go and see if the Lord comes to me: and I will give you word of whatever he says to me. And he went to an open place on a hill. 23:4 [hgb] 神 迎 见 巴 兰 。 巴 兰 说 ， 我 预 备 了 七 座 坛 ， 在 每 座 坛 上 献 了 一 只 公 牛 ， 一 只 公 羊 。 [kjv] And God met Balaam: and he said unto him, I have prepared seven altars, and I have offered upon every altar a bullock and a ram. [bbe] And God came to Balaam, and Balaam said to him, I have made ready seven altars, offering an ox and a male sheep on every altar. 23:5 [hgb] 耶 和 华 将 话 传 给 巴 兰 ， 又 说 ， 你 回 到 巴 勒 那 里 ， 要 如 此 如 此 说 。 [kjv] And the LORD put a word in Balaam's mouth, and said, Return unto Balak, and thus thou shalt speak. [bbe] And the Lord put words in Balaam's mouth, and said, Go back to Balak, and this is what you are to say. 23:6 [hgb] 他 就 回 到 巴 勒 那 里 ， 见 他 同 摩 押 的 使 臣 都 站 在 燔 祭 旁 边 。 [kjv] And he returned unto him, and, lo, he stood by his burnt sacrifice, he, and all the princes of Moab. [bbe] So he went back to him where he was waiting by his burned offering with all the chiefs of Moab. 23:7 [hgb] 巴 兰 便 题 起 诗 歌 说 ， 巴 勒 引 我 出 亚 兰 ， 摩 押 王 引 我 出 东 山 ， 说 ， 来 阿 ， 为 我 咒 诅 雅 各 。 来 阿 ， 怒 骂 以 色 列 。 [kjv] And he took up his parable, and said, Balak the king of Moab hath brought me from Aram, out of the mountains of the east, saying, Come, curse me Jacob, and come, defy Israel. [bbe] And in the words which the Lord had given him he said, From Aram Balak has sent for me, the king of Moab from the mountains of the East: come, put curses on Jacob for me and be angry with Israel. 23:8 [hgb] 神 没 有 咒 诅 的 ， 我 焉 能 咒 诅 ， 耶 和 华 没 有 怒 骂 的 ， 我 焉 能 怒 骂 ， [kjv] How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied? [bbe] How may I put curses on him who is not cursed by God? how may I be angry with him with whom the Lord is not angry? 23:9 [hgb] 我 从 高 峰 看 他 ， 从 小 山 望 他 。 这 是 独 居 的 民 ， 不 列 在 万 民 中 。 [kjv] For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations. [bbe] From the top of the rocks I see him, looking down on him from the hills: it is a people made separate, not to be numbered among the nations. 23:10 [hgb] 谁 能 数 点 雅 各 的 尘 土 ， 谁 能 计 算 以 色 列 的 四 分 之 一 ， 我 愿 如 义 人 之 死 而 死 。 我 愿 如 义 人 之 终 而 终 。 [kjv] Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his! [bbe] Who is able to take the measure of the dust of Jacob or the number of the thousands of Israel? May my death be the death of the upright and my last end like his! 23:11 [hgb] 巴 勒 对 巴 兰 说 ， 你 向 我 作 的 是 什 么 事 呢 ？ 我 领 你 来 咒 诅 我 的 仇 敌 ， 不 料 ， 你 竟 为 他 们 祝 福 。 [kjv] And Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether. [bbe] Then Balak said to Balaam, What have you done to me? I sent for you so that my haters might be cursed, and see, you have given them a blessing. 23:12 [hgb] 他 回 答 说 ， 耶 和 华 传 给 我 的 话 ， 我 能 不 谨 慎 传 说 吗 ？ [kjv] And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak that which the LORD hath put in my mouth? [bbe] And in answer he said, Am I not ordered to say only what the Lord puts into my mouth? 23:13 [hgb] 巴 勒 说 ， 求 你 同 我 往 别 处 去 ， 在 那 里 可 以 看 见 他 们 。 你 不 能 全 看 见 ， 只 能 看 见 他 们 边 界 上 的 人 。 在 那 里 要 为 我 咒 诅 他 们 。 [kjv] And Balak said unto him, Come, I pray thee, with me unto another place, from whence thou mayest see them: thou shalt see but the utmost part of them, and shalt not see them all: and curse me them from thence. [bbe] And Balak said to him, Come with me now into another place from which you will not be able to see them all, but only the outskirts of them; and you will send curses on them from there. 23:14 [hgb] 于 是 领 巴 兰 到 了 琐 腓 田 ， 上 了 毗 斯 迦 山 顶 ， 筑 了 七 座 坛 。 每 座 坛 上 献 一 只 公 牛 ， 一 只 公 羊 。 [kjv] And he brought him into the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar. [bbe] So he took him into the country of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and there they made seven altars, offering an ox and a male sheep on every altar. 23:15 [hgb] 巴 兰 对 巴 勒 说 ， 你 站 在 这 燔 祭 旁 边 ， 等 我 往 那 边 去 迎 见 耶 和 华 。 [kjv] And he said unto Balak, Stand here by thy burnt offering, while I meet the LORD yonder. [bbe] Then he said to Balak, Take your place here by your burned offering, while I go over there to the Lord. 23:16 [hgb] 耶 和 华 临 到 巴 兰 那 里 ， 将 话 传 给 他 。 又 说 ， 你 回 到 巴 勒 那 里 ， 要 如 此 如 此 说 。 [kjv] And the LORD met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth, and said, Go again unto Balak, and say thus. [bbe] And the Lord came to Balaam, and put words in his mouth, and said, Go back to Balak, and this is what you are to say. 23:17 [hgb] 他 就 回 到 巴 勒 那 里 ， 见 他 站 在 燔 祭 旁 边 。 摩 押 的 使 臣 也 和 他 在 一 处 。 巴 勒 问 他 说 ， 耶 和 华 说 了 什 么 话 呢 ？ [kjv] And when he came to him, behold, he stood by his burnt offering, and the princes of Moab with him. And Balak said unto him, What hath the LORD spoken? [bbe] So he came to him where he was waiting by his burned offering with the chiefs of Moab by his side. And Balak said to him, What has the Lord said? 23:18 [hgb] 巴 兰 就 题 诗 歌 说 ， 巴 勒 ， 你 起 来 听 。 西 拨 的 儿 子 ， 你 听 我 言 。 [kjv] And he took up his parable, and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear; hearken unto me, thou son of Zippor: [bbe] And in the words which the Lord had given him he said, Up! Balak, and give ear; give attention to me, O son of Zippor: 23:19 [hgb] 神 非 人 ， 必 不 致 说 谎 ， 也 非 人 子 ， 必 不 致 后 悔 。 他 说 话 岂 不 照 着 行 呢 ？ 他 发 言 岂 不 要 成 就 呢 ？ [kjv] God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? [bbe] God is not a man, to say what is false; or the son of man, that his purpose may be changed: what he has said, will he not do? and will he not give effect to the words of his mouth? 23:20 [hgb] 我 奉 命 祝 福 。 神 也 曾 赐 福 ， 此 事 我 不 能 翻 转 。 [kjv] Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it. [bbe] See, I have had orders to give blessing: and he has given a blessing which I have no power to take away. 23:21 [hgb] 他 未 见 雅 各 中 有 罪 孽 ， 也 未 见 以 色 列 中 有 奸 恶 。 耶 和 华 他 的 神 和 他 同 在 。 有 欢 呼 王 的 声 音 在 他 们 中 间 。 [kjv] He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them. [bbe] He has seen no evil in Jacob or wrongdoing in Israel: the Lord his God is with him, and the glad cry of a king is among them. 23:22 [hgb] 神 领 他 们 出 埃 及 。 他 们 似 乎 有 野 牛 之 力 。 [kjv] God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn. [bbe] It is God who has taken them out of Egypt; his horns are like those of the mountain ox. 23:23 [hgb] 断 没 有 法 术 可 以 害 雅 各 ， 也 没 有 占 卜 可 以 害 以 色 列 。 现 在 必 有 人 论 及 雅 各 ， 就 是 论 及 以 色 列 说 ， 神 为 他 行 了 何 等 的 大 事 。 [kjv] Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought! [bbe] No evil power has effect against Jacob, no secret arts against Israel; at the right time it will be said of Jacob and of Israel, See what God has done! 23:24 [hgb] 这 民 起 来 ， 仿 佛 母 狮 ， 挺 身 ， 好 像 公 狮 ， 未 曾 吃 野 食 ， 未 曾 喝 被 伤 者 之 血 ， 决 不 躺 卧 。 [kjv] Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain. [bbe] See, Israel comes up like a she-lion, lifting himself up like a lion: he will take no rest till he has made a meal of those he has overcome, drinking the blood of those he has put to death. 23:25 [hgb] 巴 勒 对 巴 兰 说 ， 你 一 点 不 要 咒 诅 他 们 ， 也 不 要 为 他 们 祝 福 。 [kjv] And Balak said unto Balaam, Neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all. [bbe] Then Balak said to Balaam, If you will not put a curse on them, at all events do not give them a blessing. 23:26 [hgb] 巴 兰 回 答 巴 勒 说 ， 我 岂 不 是 告 诉 你 说 凡 耶 和 华 所 说 的 ， 我 必 须 遵 行 吗 ？ [kjv] But Balaam answered and said unto Balak, Told not I thee, saying, All that the LORD speaketh, that I must do? [bbe] But Balaam in answer said to Balak, Did I not say to you, I may only do what the Lord says? 23:27 [hgb] 巴 勒 对 巴 兰 说 ， 来 吧 ， 我 领 你 往 别 处 去 ， 或 者 神 喜 欢 你 在 那 里 为 我 咒 诅 他 们 。 [kjv] And Balak said unto Balaam, Come, I pray thee, I will bring thee unto another place; peradventure it will please God that thou mayest curse me them from thence. [bbe] Then Balak said to Balaam, Come now, I will take you to another place; it may be that God will let you put a curse on them from there. 23:28 [hgb] 巴 勒 就 领 巴 兰 到 那 下 望 旷 野 的 毗 珥 山 顶 上 。 [kjv] And Balak brought Balaam unto the top of Peor, that looketh toward Jeshimon. [bbe] So Balak took Balaam to the top of Peor, looking down over the waste land. 23:29 [hgb] 巴 兰 对 巴 勒 说 ， 你 在 这 里 为 我 筑 七 座 坛 ， 又 在 这 里 为 我 预 备 七 只 公 牛 ， 七 只 公 羊 。 [kjv] And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven bullocks and seven rams. [bbe] And Balaam said to Balak, Make me seven altars here and get seven oxen and seven male sheep ready for me. 23:30 [hgb] 巴 勒 就 照 巴 兰 的 话 行 ， 在 每 座 坛 上 献 一 只 公 牛 ， 一 只 公 羊 。 [kjv] And Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar. Chapter 24
24:1 [hgb] 巴 兰 见 耶 和 华 喜 欢 赐 福 与 以 色 列 ， 就 不 像 前 两 次 去 求 法 术 ， 却 面 向 旷 野 。 [kjv] And when Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he went not, as at other times, to seek for enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness. [bbe] Now when Balaam saw that it was the Lord's pleasure to give his blessing to Israel, he did not, as at other times, make use of secret arts, but turning his face to the waste land, 24:2 [hgb] 巴 兰 举 目 ， 看 见 以 色 列 人 照 着 支 派 居 住 。 神 的 灵 就 临 到 他 身 上 ， [kjv] And Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel abiding in his tents according to their tribes; and the spirit of God came upon him. [bbe] And lifting up his eyes, he saw Israel there, with their tents in the order of their tribes: and the spirit of God came on him. 24:3 [hgb] 他 便 题 起 诗 歌 说 ， 比 珥 的 儿 子 巴 兰 说 ， 眼 目 闭 住 （ 闭 住 或 作 睁 开 ） 的 人 说 ， [kjv] And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said: [bbe] And moved by the spirit, he said, These are the words of Balaam, son of Beor, the words of the man whose eyes are open: 24:4 [hgb] 得 听 神 的 言 语 ， 得 见 全 能 者 的 异 象 ， 眼 目 睁 开 而 仆 倒 的 人 说 ， [kjv] He hath said, which heard the words of God, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open: [bbe] He says, whose ears are open to the words of God, who has seen the vision of the Ruler of all, falling down, but having his eyes open: 24:5 [hgb] 雅 各 阿 ， 你 的 帐 棚 何 等 华 美 。 以 色 列 阿 ， 你 的 帐 幕 何 其 华 丽 。 [kjv] How goodly are thy tents, O Jacob, and thy tabernacles, O Israel! [bbe] How fair are your tents, O Jacob, your houses, O Israel! 24:6 [hgb] 如 接 连 的 山 谷 ， 如 河 旁 的 园 子 ， 如 耶 和 华 所 栽 的 沉 香 树 ， 如 水 边 的 香 柏 木 。 [kjv] As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign aloes which the LORD hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters. [bbe] They are stretched out like valleys, like gardens by the riverside, like flowering trees planted by the Lord, like cedar-trees by the waters. 24:7 [hgb] 水 要 从 他 的 桶 里 流 出 。 种 子 要 撒 在 多 水 之 处 。 他 的 王 必 超 过 亚 甲 。 他 的 国 必 要 振 兴 。 [kjv] He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted. [bbe] Peoples will be in fear before his strength, his arm will be on great nations: his king will be higher than Agag, and his kingdom made great in honour. 24:8 [hgb] 神 领 他 出 埃 及 。 他 似 乎 有 野 牛 之 力 。 他 要 吞 吃 敌 国 ， 折 断 他 们 的 骨 头 ， 用 箭 射 透 他 们 。 [kjv] God brought him forth out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn: he shall eat up the nations his enemies, and shall break their bones, and pierce them through with his arrows. [bbe] It is God who has taken him out of Egypt; his horns are like those of the mountain ox; the nations warring against him will be his food, their bones will be broken, they will be wounded with his arrows. 24:9 [hgb] 他 蹲 如 公 狮 ， 卧 如 母 狮 ， 谁 敢 惹 他 ， 凡 给 你 祝 福 的 ， 愿 他 蒙 福 。 凡 咒 诅 你 的 ， 愿 他 受 咒 诅 。 [kjv] He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blesseth thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee. [bbe] He took his sleep stretched out like a lion, and like a she-lion: by whom will his rest be broken? May a blessing be on everyone who gives you blessing, and a curse on everyone by whom you are cursed. 24:10 [hgb] 巴 勒 向 巴 兰 生 气 ， 就 拍 起 手 来 ， 对 巴 兰 说 ， 我 召 你 来 为 我 咒 诅 仇 敌 ， 不 料 ， 你 这 三 次 竟 为 他 们 祝 福 。 [kjv] And Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he smote his hands together: and Balak said unto Balaam, I called thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast altogether blessed them these three times. [bbe] Then Balak was full of wrath against Balaam, and angrily waving his hands he said to Balaam, I sent for you so that those who are against me might be cursed, but now, see, three times you have given them a blessing. 24:11 [hgb] 如 今 你 快 回 本 地 去 吧 。 我 想 使 你 得 大 尊 荣 ， 耶 和 华 却 阻 止 你 不 得 尊 荣 。 [kjv] Therefore now flee thou to thy place: I thought to promote thee unto great honour; but, lo, the LORD hath kept thee back from honour. [bbe] Go back quickly to the place you came from: it was my purpose to give you a place of honour, but now the Lord has kept you back from honour. 24:12 [hgb] 巴 兰 对 巴 勒 说 ， 我 岂 不 是 对 你 所 差 遣 到 我 那 里 的 使 者 说 ， [kjv] And Balaam said unto Balak, Spake I not also to thy messengers which thou sentest unto me, saying, [bbe] Then Balaam said to Balak, Did I not say to the men you sent to me, 24:13 [hgb] 巴 勒 就 是 将 他 满 屋 的 金 银 给 我 ， 我 也 不 得 越 过 耶 和 华 的 命 ， 凭 自 己 的 心 意 行 好 行 歹 。 耶 和 华 说 什 么 ， 我 就 要 说 什 么 ， [kjv] If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I cannot go beyond the commandment of the LORD, to do either good or bad of mine own mind; but what the LORD saith, that will I speak? [bbe] Even if Balak gave me his house full of silver and gold, it would not be possible for me to go outside the orders of the Lord, doing good or evil at the impulse of my mind; whatever the Lord says I will say? 24:14 [hgb] 现 在 我 要 回 本 族 去 。 你 来 ， 我 告 诉 你 这 民 日 后 要 怎 样 待 你 的 民 。 [kjv] And now, behold, I go unto my people: come therefore, and I will advertise thee what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days. [bbe] So now I will go back to my people: but first let me make clear to you what this people will do to your people in days to come. 24:15 [hgb] 他 就 题 起 诗 歌 说 ， 比 珥 的 儿 子 巴 兰 说 ， 眼 目 闭 住 （ 闭 住 或 作 睁 开 ） 的 人 说 ， [kjv] And he took up his parable, and said, Balaam the son of Beor hath said, and the man whose eyes are open hath said: [bbe] Then he went on with his story and said, These are the words of Balaam, the son of Beor, the words of him whose eyes are open: 24:16 [hgb] 得 听 神 的 言 语 ， 明 白 至 高 者 的 意 旨 ， 看 见 全 能 者 的 异 象 ， 眼 目 睁 开 而 仆 倒 的 人 说 ， [kjv] He hath said, which heard the words of God, and knew the knowledge of the most High, which saw the vision of the Almighty, falling into a trance, but having his eyes open: [bbe] He says, whose ear is open to the words of God, who has knowledge of the Most High, who has seen the vision of the Ruler of all, falling down and having his eyes open: 24:17 [hgb] 我 看 他 却 不 在 现 时 。 我 望 他 却 不 在 近 日 。 有 星 要 出 于 雅 各 ， 有 杖 要 兴 于 以 色 列 ， 必 打 破 摩 押 的 四 角 ， 毁 坏 扰 乱 之 子 。 [kjv] I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth. [bbe] I see him, but not now: looking on him, but not near: a star will come out of Jacob, and a rod of authority out of Israel, sending destruction to the farthest limits of Moab and on the head of all the sons of Sheth. 24:18 [hgb] 他 必 得 以 东 为 基 业 ， 又 得 仇 敌 之 地 西 珥 为 产 业 。 以 色 列 必 行 事 勇 敢 。 [kjv] And Edom shall be a possession, Seir also shall be a possession for his enemies; and Israel shall do valiantly. [bbe] Edom will be his heritage, and he will put an end to the last of the people of Seir. 24:19 [hgb] 有 一 位 出 于 雅 各 的 ， 必 掌 大 权 。 他 要 除 灭 城 中 的 余 民 。 [kjv] Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him that remaineth of the city. [bbe] And Israel will go on in strength, and Jacob will have rule over his haters. 24:20 [hgb] 巴 兰 观 看 亚 玛 力 ， 就 题 起 诗 歌 说 ， 亚 玛 力 原 为 诸 国 之 首 ， 但 他 终 必 沉 沦 。 [kjv] And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever. [bbe] Then, turning his eyes to Amalek, he went on with his story and said, Amalek was the first of the nations, but his part will be destruction for ever. 24:21 [hgb] 巴 兰 观 看 基 尼 人 ， 就 题 起 诗 歌 说 ， 你 的 住 处 本 是 坚 固 。 你 的 窝 巢 作 在 岩 穴 中 。 [kjv] And he looked on the Kenites, and took up his parable, and said, Strong is thy dwellingplace, and thou puttest thy nest in a rock. [bbe] And looking on the Kenites he went on with his story and said, Strong is your living-place, and your secret place is safe in the rock. 24:22 [hgb] 然 而 基 尼 必 至 衰 微 ， 直 到 亚 述 把 你 掳 去 。 [kjv] Nevertheless the Kenite shall be wasted, until Asshur shall carry thee away captive. [bbe] But still the Kenites will be wasted, till Asshur takes you away prisoner. 24:23 [hgb] 巴 兰 又 题 起 诗 歌 说 ， 哀 哉 。 神 行 这 事 ， 谁 能 得 活 ， [kjv] And he took up his parable, and said, Alas, who shall live when God doeth this! [bbe] Then he went on with his story and said, But who may keep his life when God does this? 24:24 [hgb] 必 有 人 乘 船 从 基 提 界 而 来 ， 苦 害 亚 述 ， 苦 害 希 伯 。 他 也 必 至 沉 沦 。 [kjv] And ships shall come from the coast of Chittim, and shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber, and he also shall perish for ever. [bbe] But ships will come from the direction of Kittim, troubling Asshur and troubling Eber, and like the others their fate will be destruction. 24:25 [hgb] 于 是 巴 兰 起 来 ， 回 他 本 地 去 。 巴 勒 也 回 去 了 。 [kjv] And Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place: and Balak also went his way.
