《撒母耳记》是《圣经》旧约的一卷书，分为上下两册，上册共31章，下册共24章。记载了以色列王国第一位国王扫罗和第二位国王大卫执政期间的历史。
撒母耳记是旧约历史书的一部分，与约书亚记、士师记和列王纪有很密切的联系；旧约的整个故事由创世记的创造开始，结束于列王纪记载被掳到巴比伦。在这样广阔的背景之下，撒母耳记讨论以色列采取君主政体的这个重要过渡时期。故此，撒母耳记上开始记载最后的士师以利及撒母耳本人，随后是以色列第一位君主扫罗；从某种意义而言，他不是这个君主制度真正的开始。所以撒母耳记下继续以大卫的统治开始，他是犹大王朝的创始人，而且建立很好的模范，让他的继承者和后裔有所仿效。撒母耳记与士师记有很密切的关系，它们都提及早期的政治领袖就是“士师”；撒母耳记与列王纪也很有联系，它们都对大卫的生平作出结论，并且继而描述他的继承者所罗门王的统治。

本书虽以撒母耳命名，但他显然不是全卷书的作者，因他的离世纪录在撒母耳记上结束之前，他不可能记载下卷提及的大卫王以后的事迹。
后人以其名冠之于王国故事，大抵因为他是书中三位主角之一，是拯救以色列脱离士师时代的危难绝望，转入君主政制的平安兴盛时代的民族英雄；他更是膏立书中其余两位主角（扫罗，大卫）为王的先知，可见他在以色列中的重要性。
撒母耳生于公元前十一世纪中叶，介乎士师时代与君王时代之间，是最后的一位士师，引导以色列人进入君王时期。本书详载他的出生，童年及当士师的经过。当时以色列人正面临黑暗历期：宗教上，祭司制度腐败，信仰生活濒于破产；政治上，人民目无法纪，“各人任意而行”；外交上又受制于强邻非利士人，正是充满内忧外患。本书记述撒母耳如何带领以色列人回转归向耶和华的经过。
Chapter 1

[bbe] Now this man went up from his town every year to give worship and to make offerings to the Lord of armies in Shiloh. And the two sons of Eli, Hophni and Phinehas, the priests of the Lord, were there. 1:4 [hgb] 以 利 加 拿 每 逢 献 祭 的 日 子 ， 将 祭 肉 分 给 他 的 妻 毗 尼 拿 和 毗 尼 拿 所 生 的 儿 女 。 [kjv] And when the time was that Elkanah offered, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and her daughters, portions: [bbe] And when the day came for Elkanah to make his offering, he gave to Peninnah his wife, and to all her sons and daughters, their part of the feast: 1:5 [hgb] 给 哈 拿 的 却 是 双 分 ， 因 为 他 爱 哈 拿 。 无 奈 耶 和 华 不 使 哈 拿 生 育 。 [kjv] But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb. [bbe] But to Hannah he gave one part, though Hannah was very dear to him, but the Lord had not let her have children. 1:6 [hgb] 毗 尼 拿 见 耶 和 华 不 使 哈 拿 生 育 ， 就 作 她 的 对 头 ， 大 大 激 动 她 ， 要 使 她 生 气 。 [kjv] And her adversary also provoked her sore, for to make her fret, because the LORD had shut up her womb. [bbe] And the other wife did everything possible to make her unhappy, because the Lord had not let her have children; 1:7 [hgb] 每 年 上 到 耶 和 华 殿 的 时 候 ， 以 利 加 拿 都 以 双 分 给 哈 拿 。 毗 尼 拿 仍 是 激 动 她 ， 以 致 她 哭 泣 不 吃 饭 。 [kjv] And as he did so year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, so she provoked her; therefore she wept, and did not eat. [bbe] And year by year, whenever she went up to the house of the Lord, she kept on attacking her, so that Hannah gave herself up to weeping and would take no food. 1:8 [hgb] 她 丈 夫 以 利 加 拿 对 她 说 ， 哈 拿 阿 ， 你 为 何 哭 泣 ， 不 吃 饭 ， 心 里 愁 闷 呢 ？ 有 我 不 比 十 个 儿 子 还 好 吗 ？ [kjv] Then said Elkanah her husband to her, Hannah, why weepest thou? and why eatest thou not? and why is thy heart grieved? am not I better to thee than ten sons? [bbe] Then her husband Elkanah said to her, Hannah, why are you weeping? and why are you taking no food? why is your heart troubled? am I not more to you than ten sons? 1:9 [hgb] 他 们 在 示 罗 吃 喝 完 了 ， 哈 拿 就 站 起 来 。 祭 司 以 利 在 耶 和 华 殿 的 门 框 旁 边 ， 坐 在 自 己 的 位 上 。 [kjv] So Hannah rose up after they had eaten in Shiloh, and after they had drunk. Now Eli the priest sat upon a seat by a post of the temple of the LORD. [bbe] So after they had taken food and wine in the guest room, Hannah got up. Now Eli the priest was seated by the pillars of the doorway of the Temple of the Lord. 1:10 [hgb] 哈 拿 心 里 愁 苦 ， 就 痛 痛 哭 泣 ， 祈 祷 耶 和 华 ， [kjv] And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore. [bbe] And with grief in her soul, weeping bitterly, she made her prayer to the Lord. 1:11 [hgb] 许 愿 说 ， 万 军 之 耶 和 华 阿 ， 你 若 垂 顾 婢 女 的 苦 情 ， 眷 念 不 忘 婢 女 ， 赐 我 一 个 儿 子 ， 我 必 使 他 终 身 归 与 耶 和 华 ， 不 用 剃 头 刀 剃 他 的 头 。 [kjv] And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. [bbe] And she made an oath, and said, O Lord of armies, if you will truly take note of the sorrow of your servant, not turning away from me but keeping me in mind, and will give me a man-child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and his hair will never be cut. 1:12 [hgb] 哈 拿 在 耶 和 华 面 前 不 住 地 祈 祷 ， 以 利 定 睛 看 她 的 嘴 。 [kjv] And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth. [bbe] Now while she was a long time in prayer before the Lord, Eli was watching her mouth. 1:13 [hgb] 原 来 哈 拿 心 中 默 祷 ， 只 动 嘴 唇 ， 不 出 声 音 ， 因 此 以 利 以 为 她 喝 醉 了 。 [kjv] Now Hannah, she spake in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard: therefore Eli thought she had been drunken. [bbe] For Hannah's prayer came from her heart, and though her lips were moving she made no sound: so it seemed to Eli that she was overcome with wine. 1:14 [hgb] 以 利 对 她 说 ， 你 要 醉 到 几 时 呢 ？ 你 不 应 该 喝 酒 。 [kjv] And Eli said unto her, How long wilt thou be drunken? put away thy wine from thee. [bbe] And Eli said to her, How long are you going to be the worse for drink? Put away the effects of your wine from you. 1:15 [hgb] 哈 拿 回 答 说 ， 主 阿 ， 不 是 这 样 。 我 是 心 里 愁 苦 的 妇 人 ， 清 酒 浓 酒 都 没 有 喝 ， 但 在 耶 和 华 面 前 倾 心 吐 意 。 [kjv] And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD. [bbe] And Hannah, answering him, said, No, my lord, I am a woman whose spirit is broken with sorrow: I have not taken wine or strong drink, but I have been opening my heart before the Lord. 1:16 [hgb] 不 要 将 婢 女 看 作 不 正 经 的 女 子 。 我 因 被 人 激 动 ， 愁 苦 太 多 ， 所 以 祈 求 到 如 今 。 [kjv] Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto. [bbe] Do not take your servant to be a good-for-nothing woman: for my words have come from my stored-up sorrow and pain. 1:17 [hgb] 以 利 说 ， 你 可 以 平 平 安 安 地 回 去 。 愿 以 色 列 的 神 允 准 你 向 他 所 求 的 。 [kjv] Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him. [bbe] Then Eli said to her, Go in peace: and may the God of Israel give you an answer to the prayer you have made to him. 1:18 [hgb] 哈 拿 说 ， 愿 婢 女 在 你 眼 前 蒙 恩 。 于 是 妇 人 走 去 吃 饭 ， 面 上 再 不 带 愁 容 了 。 [kjv] And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad. [bbe] And she said, May your servant have grace in your eyes. So the woman went away, and took part in the feast, and her face was no longer sad. 1:19 [hgb] 次 日 清 早 ， 他 们 起 来 ， 在 耶 和 华 面 前 敬 拜 ， 就 回 拉 玛 。 到 了 家 里 ， 以 利 加 拿 和 妻 哈 拿 同 房 ， 耶 和 华 顾 念 哈 拿 ， [kjv] And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. [bbe] And early in the morning they got up, and after worshipping before the Lord they went back to Ramah, to their house: and Elkanah had connection with his wife; and the Lord kept her in mind. 1:20 [hgb] 哈 拿 就 怀 孕 。 日 期 满 足 ， 生 了 一 个 儿 子 ， 给 他 起 名 叫 撒 母 耳 ， 说 ， 这 是 我 从 耶 和 华 那 里 求 来 的 。 [kjv] Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD. [bbe] Now the time came when Hannah, being with child, gave birth to a son; and she gave him the name Samuel, Because, she said, I made a prayer to the Lord for him. 1:21 [hgb] 以 利 加 拿 和 他 全 家 都 上 示 罗 去 ， 要 向 耶 和 华 献 年 祭 ， 并 还 所 许 的 愿 。 [kjv] And the man Elkanah, and all his house, went up to offer unto the LORD the yearly sacrifice, and his vow. [bbe] And the man Elkanah with all his family went up to make the year's offering to the Lord, and to give effect to his oath. 1:22 [hgb] 哈 拿 却 没 有 上 去 ， 对 丈 夫 说 ， 等 孩 子 断 了 奶 ， 我 便 带 他 上 去 朝 见 耶 和 华 ， 使 他 永 远 住 在 那 里 。 [kjv] But Hannah went not up; for she said unto her husband, I will not go up until the child be weaned, and then I will bring him, that he may appear before the LORD, and there abide for ever. [bbe] But Hannah did not go, for she said to her husband, I will not go till the child has been taken from the breast, and then I will take him with me and put him before the Lord, where he may be for ever. 1:23 [hgb] 她 丈 夫 以 利 加 拿 说 ， 就 随 你 的 意 行 吧 。 可 以 等 儿 子 断 了 奶 。 但 愿 耶 和 华 应 验 他 的 话 。 于 是 妇 人 在 家 里 乳 养 儿 子 ， 直 到 断 了 奶 。 [kjv] And Elkanah her husband said unto her, Do what seemeth thee good; tarry until thou have weaned him; only the LORD establish his word. So the woman abode, and gave her son suck until she weaned him. [bbe] And her husband Elkanah said to her, Do whatever seems right to you, but not till you have taken him from the breast; only may the Lord do as he has said. So the woman, waiting there, gave her son milk till he was old enough to be taken from the breast. 1:24 [hgb] 既 断 了 奶 ， 就 把 孩 子 带 上 示 罗 ， 到 了 耶 和 华 的 殿 。 又 带 了 三 只 公 牛 ， 一 伊 法 细 面 ， 一 皮 袋 酒 。 那 时 孩 子 还 小 。 [kjv] And when she had weaned him, she took him up with her, with three bullocks, and one ephah of flour, and a bottle of wine, and brought him unto the house of the LORD in Shiloh: and the child was young. [bbe] Then when she had done so, she took him with her, with a three-year old ox and an ephah of meal and a skin full of wine, and took him to the house of the Lord at Shiloh: now the child was still very young. 1:25 [hgb] 宰 了 一 只 公 牛 ， 就 领 孩 子 到 以 利 面 前 。 [kjv] And they slew a bullock, and brought the child to Eli. [bbe] And when they had made an offering of the ox, they took the child to Eli. 1:26 [hgb] 妇 人 说 ， 主 阿 ， 我 敢 在 你 面 前 起 誓 ， 从 前 在 你 这 里 站 着 祈 求 耶 和 华 的 那 妇 人 ， 就 是 我 。 [kjv] And she said, Oh my lord, as thy soul liveth, my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the LORD. [bbe] And she said, O my lord, as your soul is living, my lord, I am that woman who was making a prayer to the Lord here by your side: 1:27 [hgb] 我 祈 求 为 要 得 这 孩 子 。 耶 和 华 已 将 我 所 求 的 赐 给 我 了 。 [kjv] For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him: [bbe] My prayer was for this child; and the Lord has given him to me in answer to my request: 1:28 [hgb] 所 以 ， 我 将 这 孩 子 归 与 耶 和 华 ， 使 他 终 身 归 与 耶 和 华 。 于 是 在 那 里 敬 拜 耶 和 华 。 [kjv] Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshipped the LORD there. [bbe] So I have given him to the Lord; for all his life he is the Lord's. Then he gave the Lord worship there.
Chapter 2
2:1 [hgb] 哈 拿 祷 告 说 ， 我 的 心 因 耶 和 华 快 乐 。 我 的 角 因 耶 和 华 高 举 。 我 的 口 向 仇 敌 张 开 。 我 因 耶 和 华 的 救 恩 欢 欣 。 [kjv] And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation. [bbe] And Hannah, in prayer before the Lord, said, My heart is glad in the Lord, my horn is lifted up in the Lord: my mouth is open wide over my haters; because my joy is in your salvation. 2:2 [hgb] 只 有 耶 和 华 为 圣 。 除 他 以 外 没 有 可 比 的 ， 也 没 有 磐 石 像 我 们 的 神 。 [kjv] There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. [bbe] No other is holy as the Lord, for there is no other God but you: there is no Rock like our God. 2:3 [hgb] 人 不 要 夸 口 说 骄 傲 的 话 ， 也 不 要 出 狂 妄 的 言 语 。 因 耶 和 华 是 大 有 智 识 的 神 ， 人 的 行 为 被 他 衡 量 。 [kjv] Talk no more so exceeding proudly; let not arrogancy come out of your mouth: for the LORD is a God of knowledge, and by him actions are weighed. [bbe] Say no more words of pride; let not uncontrolled sayings come out of your mouths: for the Lord is a God of knowledge, by him acts are judged. 2:4 [hgb] 勇 士 的 弓 都 已 折 断 。 跌 倒 的 人 以 力 量 束 腰 。 [kjv] The bows of the mighty men are broken, and they that stumbled are girded with strength. [bbe] The bows of the men of war are broken, and the feeble are clothed with strength. 2:5 [hgb] 素 来 饱 足 的 ， 反 作 佣 人 求 食 。 饥 饿 的 ， 再 不 饥 饿 。 不 生 育 的 ， 生 了 七 个 儿 子 。 多 有 儿 女 的 ， 反 倒 衰 微 。 [kjv] They that were full have hired out themselves for bread; and they that were hungry ceased: so that the barren hath born seven; and she that hath many children is waxed feeble. [bbe] Those who were full are offering themselves as servants for bread; those who were in need are at rest; truly, she who had no children has become the mother of seven; and she who had a family is wasted with sorrow. 2:6 [hgb] 耶 和 华 使 人 死 ， 也 使 人 活 ， 使 人 下 阴 间 ， 也 使 人 往 上 升 。 [kjv] The LORD killeth, and maketh alive: he bringeth down to the grave, and bringeth up. [bbe] The Lord is the giver of death and life: sending men down to the underworld and lifting them up. 2:7 [hgb] 他 使 人 贫 穷 ， 也 使 人 富 足 ， 使 人 卑 微 ， 也 使 人 高 贵 。 [kjv] The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up. [bbe] The Lord gives wealth and takes a man's goods from him: crushing men down and again lifting them up; 2:8 [hgb] 他 从 灰 尘 里 抬 举 贫 寒 人 ， 从 粪 堆 中 提 拔 穷 乏 人 ， 使 他 们 与 王 子 同 坐 ， 得 着 荣 耀 的 座 位 。 地 的 柱 子 属 于 耶 和 华 。 他 将 世 界 立 在 其 上 。 [kjv] He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes, and to make them inherit the throne of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the LORD's, and he hath set the world upon them. [bbe] Lifting the poor out of the dust, and him who is in need out of the lowest place, to give them their place among rulers, and for their heritage the seat of glory: for the pillars of the earth are the Lord's and he has made them the base of the world. 2:9 [hgb] 他 必 保 护 圣 民 的 脚 步 ， 使 恶 人 在 黑 暗 中 寂 然 不 动 。 人 都 不 能 靠 力 量 得 胜 。 [kjv] He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail. [bbe] He will keep the feet of his holy ones, but the evil-doers will come to their end in the dark night, for by strength no man will overcome. 2:10 [hgb] 与 耶 和 华 争 竞 的 ， 必 被 打 碎 。 耶 和 华 必 从 天 上 以 雷 攻 击 他 ， 必 审 判 地 极 的 人 ， 将 力 量 赐 与 所 立 的 王 ， 高 举 受 膏 者 的 角 。 [kjv] The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed. [bbe] Those who make war against the Lord will be broken; against them he will send his thunder from heaven: the Lord will be judge of the ends of the earth, he will give strength to his king, lifting up the horn of him on whom the holy oil has been put. 2:11 [hgb] 以 利 加 拿 往 拉 玛 回 家 去 了 。 那 孩 子 在 祭 司 以 利 面 前 事 奉 耶 和 华 。 [kjv] And Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. And the child did minister unto the LORD before Eli the priest. [bbe] Then Elkanah went to Ramah to his house. And the child became the servant of the Lord under the direction of Eli the priest. 2:12 [hgb] 以 利 的 两 个 儿 子 是 恶 人 ， 不 认 识 耶 和 华 。 [kjv] Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the LORD. [bbe] Now the sons of Eli were evil and good-for-nothing men, having no knowledge of the Lord. 2:13 [hgb] 这 二 祭 司 待 百 姓 是 这 样 的 规 矩 ， 凡 有 人 献 祭 ， 正 煮 肉 的 时 候 ， 祭 司 的 仆 人 就 来 ， 手 拿 三 齿 的 叉 子 ， [kjv] And the priests' custom with the people was, that, when any man offered sacrifice, the priest's servant came, while the flesh was in seething, with a fleshhook of three teeth in his hand; [bbe] And the priests' way with the people was this: when any man made an offering, the priest's servant came while the flesh was being cooked, having in his hand a meat-hook with three teeth; 2:14 [hgb] 将 叉 子 往 罐 里 ， 或 鼎 里 ， 或 釜 里 ， 或 锅 里 一 插 ， 插 上 来 的 肉 ， 祭 司 都 取 了 去 。 凡 上 到 示 罗 的 以 色 列 人 ， 他 们 都 是 这 样 看 待 。 [kjv] And he struck it into the pan, or kettle, or caldron, or pot; all that the fleshhook brought up the priest took for himself. So they did in Shiloh unto all the Israelites that came thither. [bbe] This he put into the pot, and everything which came up on the hook the priest took for himself. This they did in Shiloh to all the Israelites who came there. 2:15 [hgb] 又 在 未 烧 脂 油 以 前 ， 祭 司 的 仆 人 就 来 对 献 祭 的 人 说 ， 将 肉 给 祭 司 ， 叫 他 烤 吧 。 他 不 要 煮 过 的 ， 要 生 的 。 [kjv] Also before they burnt the fat, the priest's servant came, and said to the man that sacrificed, Give flesh to roast for the priest; for he will not have sodden flesh of thee, but raw. [bbe] And more than this, before the fat was burned, the priest's servant would come and say to the man who was making the offering, Give me some of the flesh to be cooked for the priest; he has no taste for meat cooked in water, but would have you give it uncooked. 2:16 [hgb] 献 祭 的 人 若 说 ， 必 须 先 烧 脂 油 ， 然 后 你 可 以 随 意 取 肉 。 仆 人 就 说 ， 你 立 时 给 我 ， 不 然 我 便 抢 去 。 [kjv] And if any man said unto him, Let them not fail to burn the fat presently, and then take as much as thy soul desireth; then he would answer him, Nay; but thou shalt give it me now: and if not, I will take it by force. [bbe] And if the man said to him, First let the fat be burned, then take as much as you will; then the servant would say, No, you are to give it to me now, or I will take it by force. 2:17 [hgb] 如 此 ， 这 二 少 年 人 的 罪 在 耶 和 华 面 前 甚 重 了 ， 因 为 他 们 藐 视 耶 和 华 的 祭 物 （ 或 作 他 们 使 人 厌 弃 给 耶 和 华 献 祭 ） 。 [kjv] Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the LORD: for men abhorred the offering of the LORD. [bbe] And the sin of these young men was very great before the Lord; for they gave no honour to the Lord's offerings. 2:18 [hgb] 那 时 ， 撒 母 耳 还 是 孩 子 ， 穿 着 细 麻 布 的 以 弗 得 ， 侍 立 在 耶 和 华 面 前 。 [kjv] But Samuel ministered before the LORD, being a child, girded with a linen ephod. [bbe] But Samuel did the work of the Lord's house, while he was a child, dressed in a linen ephod. 2:19 [hgb] 他 母 亲 每 年 为 他 作 一 件 小 外 袍 ， 同 着 丈 夫 上 来 献 年 祭 的 时 候 带 来 给 他 。 [kjv] Moreover his mother made him a little coat, and brought it to him from year to year, when she came up with her husband to offer the yearly sacrifice. [bbe] And his mother made him a little robe and took it to him every year when she came with her husband for the year's offering. 2:20 [hgb] 以 利 为 以 利 加 拿 和 他 的 妻 祝 福 ， 说 ， 愿 耶 和 华 由 这 妇 人 再 赐 你 后 裔 ， 代 替 你 从 耶 和 华 求 来 的 孩 子 。 他 们 就 回 本 乡 去 了 。 [kjv] And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the LORD. And they went unto their own home. [bbe] And every year Eli gave Elkanah and his wife a blessing, saying, May the Lord give you offspring by this woman in exchange for the child you have given to the Lord. And they went back to their house. 2:21 [hgb] 耶 和 华 眷 顾 哈 拿 ， 她 就 怀 孕 生 了 三 个 儿 子 ， 两 个 女 儿 。 那 孩 子 撒 母 耳 在 耶 和 华 面 前 渐 渐 长 大 。 [kjv] And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD. [bbe] And the Lord had mercy on Hannah and she gave birth to three sons and two daughters. And the young Samuel became older before the Lord. 2:22 [hgb] 以 利 年 甚 老 迈 ， 听 见 他 两 个 儿 子 待 以 色 列 众 人 的 事 ， 又 听 见 他 们 与 会 幕 门 前 伺 候 的 妇 人 苟 合 ， [kjv] Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. [bbe] Now Eli was very old; and he had news from time to time of what his sons were doing to all Israel. 2:23 [hgb] 他 就 对 他 们 说 ， 你 们 为 何 行 这 样 的 事 呢 ？ 我 从 这 众 百 姓 听 见 你 们 的 恶 行 。 [kjv] And he said unto them, Why do ye such things? for I hear of your evil dealings by all this people. [bbe] And he said to them, Why are you doing such things? for from all this people I get accounts of your evil ways. 2:24 [hgb] 我 儿 阿 ， 不 可 这 样 。 我 听 见 你 们 的 风 声 不 好 ， 你 们 使 耶 和 华 的 百 姓 犯 了 罪 。 [kjv] Nay, my sons; for it is no good report that I hear: ye make the LORD's people to transgress. [bbe] No, my sons, the account which is given me, which the Lord's people are sending about, is not good. 2:25 [hgb] 人 若 得 罪 人 ， 有 士 师 审 判 他 。 人 若 得 罪 耶 和 华 ， 谁 能 为 他 祈 求 呢 ？ 然 而 他 们 还 是 不 听 父 亲 的 话 ， 因 为 耶 和 华 想 要 杀 他 们 。 [kjv] If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because the LORD would slay them. [bbe] If one man does wrong to another, God will be his judge: but if a man's sin is against the Lord, who will take up his cause? But they gave no attention to the voice of their father, for it was the Lord's purpose to send destruction on them. 2:26 [hgb] 孩 子 撒 母 耳 渐 渐 长 大 ， 耶 和 华 与 人 越 发 喜 爱 他 。 [kjv] And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the LORD, and also with men. [bbe] And the young Samuel, becoming older, had the approval of the Lord and of men. 2:27 [hgb] 有 神 人 来 见 以 利 ， 对 他 说 ， 耶 和 华 如 此 说 ， 你 祖 父 在 埃 及 法 老 家 作 奴 仆 的 时 候 ， 我 不 是 向 他 们 显 现 吗 ？ [kjv] And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh's house? [bbe] And a man of God came to Eli and said to him, The Lord says, Did I let myself be seen by your father's people when they were in Egypt, servants in Pharaoh's house? 2:28 [hgb] 在 以 色 列 众 支 派 中 ， 我 不 是 拣 选 人 作 我 的 祭 司 ， 使 他 烧 香 ， 在 我 坛 上 献 祭 ， 在 我 面 前 穿 以 弗 得 ， 又 将 以 色 列 人 所 献 的 火 祭 都 赐 给 你 父 家 吗 ？ [kjv] And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel? [bbe] Did I take him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest and to go up to my altar to make the smoke of the offerings go up and to take up the ephod? Did I give to your father's family all the offerings made by fire by the children of Israel? 2:29 [hgb] 我 所 吩 咐 献 在 我 居 所 的 祭 物 ， 你 们 为 何 践 踏 。 尊 重 你 的 儿 子 过 于 尊 重 我 ， 将 我 民 以 色 列 所 献 美 好 的 祭 物 肥 己 呢 ？ [kjv] Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people? [bbe] Why then are you looking with envy on my offerings of meat and of meal which were ordered by my word, honouring your sons before me, and making yourselves fat with all the best of the offerings of Israel, my people? 2:30 [hgb] 因 此 ， 耶 和 华 以 色 列 的 神 说 ， 我 曾 说 ， 你 和 你 父 家 必 永 远 行 在 我 面 前 。 现 在 我 却 说 ， 决 不 容 你 们 这 样 行 。 因 为 尊 重 我 的 ， 我 必 重 看 他 。 藐 视 我 的 ， 他 必 被 轻 视 。 [kjv] Wherefore the LORD God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the LORD saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed. [bbe] For this reason the Lord God of Israel has said, Truly I did say that your family and your father's people would have their place before me for ever: but now the Lord says, Let it not be so; I will give honour to those by whom I am honoured, and those who have no respect for me will be of small value in my eyes. 2:31 [hgb] 日 子 必 到 ， 我 要 折 断 你 的 膀 臂 和 你 父 家 的 膀 臂 ， 使 你 家 中 没 有 一 个 老 年 人 。 [kjv] Behold, the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father's house, that there shall not be an old man in thine house. [bbe] See, the days are coming when your arm and the arm of your father's people will be cut off; 2:32 [hgb] 在 神 使 以 色 列 人 享 福 的 时 候 ， 你 必 看 见 我 居 所 的 败 落 。 在 你 家 中 必 永 远 没 有 一 个 老 年 人 。 [kjv] And thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever. [bbe] And never again will there be an old man in your family. 2:33 [hgb] 我 必 不 从 我 坛 前 灭 尽 你 家 中 的 人 。 那 未 灭 的 必 使 你 眼 目 干 瘪 ， 心 中 忧 伤 。 你 家 中 所 生 的 人 都 必 死 在 中 年 。 [kjv] And the man of thine, whom I shall not cut off from mine altar, shall be to consume thine eyes, and to grieve thine heart: and all the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age. [bbe] But one man of your family will not be cut off by my hand, and his eyes will be made dark, and grief will be in his heart: and all the offspring of your family will come to their end by the sword of men. 2:34 [hgb] 你 的 两 个 儿 子 何 弗 尼 ， 非 尼 哈 所 遭 遇 的 事 可 作 你 的 证 据 ， 他 们 二 人 必 一 日 同 死 。 [kjv] And this shall be a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them. [bbe] And this will be the sign to you, which will come on Hophni and Phinehas, your sons; death will overtake them on the same day. 2:35 [hgb] 我 要 为 自 己 立 一 个 忠 心 的 祭 司 。 他 必 照 我 的 心 意 而 行 。 我 要 为 他 建 立 坚 固 的 家 。 他 必 永 远 行 在 我 的 受 膏 者 面 前 。 [kjv] And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever. [bbe] And I will make a true priest for myself, one who will do what is in my heart and in my mind: and I will make for him a family which will not come to an end; and his place will be before my holy one for ever. 2:36 [hgb] 你 家 所 剩 下 的 人 都 必 来 叩 拜 他 ， 求 块 银 子 ， 求 个 饼 ， 说 ， 求 你 赐 我 祭 司 的 职 分 ， 好 叫 我 得 点 饼 吃 。 [kjv] And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests' offices, that I may eat a piece of bread. [bbe] Then it will be that the rest of your family, anyone who has not been cut off, will go down on his knees to him for a bit of silver or a bit of bread, and say, Be pleased to put me into one of the priest's places so that I may have a little food.
