Chapter 12
12:1 [hgb] 撒 母 耳 对 以 色 列 众 人 说 ， 你 们 向 我 所 求 的 ， 我 已 应 允 了 ， 为 你 们 立 了 一 个 王 。 [kjv] And Samuel said unto all Israel, Behold, I have hearkened unto your voice in all that ye said unto me, and have made a king over you. [bbe] And Samuel said to all Israel, You see that I have given ear to everything you said to me, and have made a king over you. 12:2 [hgb] 现 在 有 这 王 在 你 们 前 面 行 。 我 已 年 老 发 白 ， 我 的 儿 子 都 在 你 们 这 里 。 我 从 幼 年 直 到 今 日 都 在 你 们 前 面 行 。 [kjv] And now, behold, the king walketh before you: and I am old and grayheaded; and, behold, my sons are with you: and I have walked before you from my childhood unto this day. [bbe] And now, see, the king is before you: and I am old and grey-headed, and my sons are with you: I have been living before your eyes from my early days till now. 12:3 [hgb] 我 在 这 里 ， 你 们 要 在 耶 和 华 和 他 的 受 膏 者 面 前 给 我 作 见 证 。 我 夺 过 谁 的 牛 ， 抢 过 谁 的 驴 ， 欺 负 过 谁 ， 虐 待 过 谁 ， 从 谁 手 里 受 过 贿 赂 因 而 眼 瞎 呢 ？ 若 有 ， 我 必 偿 还 。 [kjv] Behold, here I am: witness against me before the LORD, and before his anointed: whose ox have I taken? or whose ass have I taken? or whom have I defrauded? whom have I oppressed? or of whose hand have I received any bribe to blind mine eyes therewith? and I will restore it you. [bbe] Here I am: give witness against me before the Lord and before the man on whom he has put the holy oil: whose ox or ass have I taken? to whom have I been untrue? who has been crushed down by me? from whose hand have I taken a price for the blinding of my eyes? I will give it all back to you. 12:4 [hgb] 众 人 说 ， 你 未 曾 欺 负 我 们 ， 虐 待 我 们 ， 也 未 曾 从 谁 手 里 受 过 什 么 。 [kjv] And they said, Thou hast not defrauded us, nor oppressed us, neither hast thou taken ought of any man's hand. [bbe] And they said, You have never been untrue to us or cruel to us; you have taken nothing from any man. 12:5 [hgb] 撒 母 耳 对 他 们 说 ， 你 们 在 我 手 里 没 有 找 着 什 么 ， 有 耶 和 华 和 他 的 受 膏 者 今 日 为 证 。 他 们 说 ， 愿 他 为 证 。 [kjv] And he said unto them, The LORD is witness against you, and his anointed is witness this day, that ye have not found ought in my hand. And they answered, He is witness. [bbe] Then he said, The Lord is witness against you, and the man on whom he has put the holy oil is witness this day that you have seen no wrong in me. And they said, He is witness. 12:6 [hgb] 撒 母 耳 对 百 姓 说 ， 从 前 立 摩 西 ， 亚 伦 ， 又 领 你 们 列 祖 出 埃 及 地 的 是 耶 和 华 。 [kjv] And Samuel said unto the people, It is the LORD that advanced Moses and Aaron, and that brought your fathers up out of the land of Egypt. [bbe] And Samuel said to the people, The Lord is witness, who gave authority to Moses and Aaron, and who took your fathers up out of the land of Egypt. 12:7 [hgb] 现 在 你 们 要 站 住 ， 等 我 在 耶 和 华 面 前 对 你 们 讲 论 耶 和 华 向 你 们 和 你 们 列 祖 所 行 一 切 公 义 的 事 。 [kjv] Now therefore stand still, that I may reason with you before the LORD of all the righteous acts of the LORD, which he did to you and to your fathers. [bbe] Keep your places now, while I take up the argument with you before the Lord, and give you the story of the righteousness of the Lord, which he has made clear by his acts to you and to your fathers. 12:8 [hgb] 从 前 雅 各 到 了 埃 及 ， 后 来 你 们 列 祖 呼 求 耶 和 华 ， 耶 和 华 就 差 遣 摩 西 ， 亚 伦 领 你 们 列 祖 出 埃 及 ， 使 他 们 在 这 地 方 居 住 。 [kjv] When Jacob was come into Egypt, and your fathers cried unto the LORD, then the LORD sent Moses and Aaron, which brought forth your fathers out of Egypt, and made them dwell in this place. [bbe] When Jacob and his sons had come into Egypt, and were crushed by the Egyptians, the prayers of your fathers came up to the Lord, and the Lord sent Moses and Aaron, who took your fathers out of Egypt, and he put them into this place. 12:9 [hgb] 他 们 却 忘 记 耶 和 华 他 们 的 神 ， 他 就 把 他 们 付 与 夏 琐 将 军 西 西 拉 的 手 里 ， 和 非 利 士 人 并 摩 押 王 的 手 里 。 于 是 这 些 人 常 来 攻 击 他 们 。 [kjv] And when they forgat the LORD their God, he sold them into the hand of Sisera, captain of the host of Hazor, and into the hand of the Philistines, and into the hand of the king of Moab, and they fought against them. [bbe] But they were false to the Lord their God, and he gave them up into the hands of Sisera, captain of the army of Jabin, king of Hazor, and into the hands of the Philistines, and into the hands of the king of Moab, who made war against them. 12:10 [hgb] 他 们 就 呼 求 耶 和 华 说 ， 我 们 离 弃 耶 和 华 ， 事 奉 巴 力 和 亚 斯 他 录 ， 是 有 罪 了 。 现 在 求 你 救 我 们 脱 离 仇 敌 的 手 ， 我 们 必 事 奉 你 。 [kjv] And they cried unto the LORD, and said, We have sinned, because we have forsaken the LORD, and have served Baalim and Ashtaroth: but now deliver us out of the hand of our enemies, and we will serve thee. [bbe] Then crying out to the Lord, they said, We have done evil, because we have been turned away from the Lord, worshipping the Baals and the Astartes: but now, make us safe from those who are against us and we will be your servants. 12:11 [hgb] 耶 和 华 就 差 遣 耶 路 巴 力 ， 比 但 ， 耶 弗 他 ， 撒 母 耳 救 你 们 脱 离 四 围 仇 敌 的 手 ， 你 们 才 安 然 居 住 。 [kjv] And the LORD sent Jerubbaal, and Bedan, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side, and ye dwelled safe. [bbe] So the Lord sent Jerubbaal and Barak and Jephthah and Samuel and took you out of the power of those who were fighting against you on every side, and made you safe. 12:12 [hgb] 你 们 见 亚 扪 人 的 王 拿 辖 来 攻 击 你 们 ， 就 对 我 说 ， 我 们 定 要 一 个 王 治 理 我 们 。 其 实 耶 和 华 你 们 的 神 是 你 们 的 王 。 [kjv] And when ye saw that Nahash the king of the children of Ammon came against you, ye said unto me, Nay; but a king shall reign over us: when the LORD your God was your king. [bbe] And when you saw that Nahash, the king of the Ammonites, was coming against you, you said to me, No more of this; we will have a king for our ruler: when the Lord your God was your king. 12:13 [hgb] 现 在 ， 你 们 所 求 所 选 的 王 在 这 里 。 看 哪 ， 耶 和 华 已 经 为 你 们 立 王 了 。 [kjv] Now therefore behold the king whom ye have chosen, and whom ye have desired! and, behold, the LORD hath set a king over you. [bbe] Here, then, is the king marked out by you: the Lord has put a king over you. 12:14 [hgb] 你 们 若 敬 畏 耶 和 华 ， 事 奉 他 ， 听 从 他 的 话 ， 不 违 背 他 的 命 令 ， 你 们 和 治 理 你 们 的 王 也 都 顺 从 耶 和 华 你 们 的 神 就 好 了 。 [kjv] If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God: [bbe] If in the fear of the Lord you are his servants, hearing his voice and not going against the orders of the Lord, but being true to the Lord your God, you and the king ruling over you, then all will be well: 12:15 [hgb] 倘 若 不 听 从 耶 和 华 的 话 ， 违 背 他 的 命 令 ， 耶 和 华 的 手 必 攻 击 你 们 ， 像 从 前 攻 击 你 们 列 祖 一 样 。 [kjv] But if ye will not obey the voice of the LORD, but rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall the hand of the LORD be against you, as it was against your fathers. [bbe] But if you do not give ear to the voice of the Lord, but go against his orders, then the hand of the Lord will be against you and against your king for your destruction, as it was against your fathers. 12:16 [hgb] 现 在 你 们 要 站 住 ， 看 耶 和 华 在 你 们 眼 前 要 行 一 件 大 事 。 [kjv] Now therefore stand and see this great thing, which the LORD will do before your eyes. [bbe] Now keep where you are and see this great thing which the Lord will do before your eyes. 12:17 [hgb] 这 不 是 割 麦 子 的 时 候 吗 ？ 我 求 告 耶 和 华 ， 他 必 打 雷 降 雨 ， 使 你 们 又 知 道 又 看 出 ， 你 们 求 立 王 的 事 是 在 耶 和 华 面 前 犯 大 罪 了 。 [kjv] Is it not wheat harvest to day? I will call unto the LORD, and he shall send thunder and rain; that ye may perceive and see that your wickedness is great, which ye have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking you a king. [bbe] Is it not now the time of the grain cutting? My cry will go up to the Lord and he will send thunder and rain: so that you may see and be conscious of your great sin which you have done in the eyes of the Lord in desiring a king for yourselves. 12:18 [hgb] 于 是 撒 母 耳 求 告 耶 和 华 ， 耶 和 华 就 在 这 日 打 雷 降 雨 ， 众 民 便 甚 惧 怕 耶 和 华 和 撒 母 耳 。 [kjv] So Samuel called unto the LORD; and the LORD sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people greatly feared the LORD and Samuel. [bbe] So Samuel made prayer to the Lord; and the Lord sent thunder and rain that day: and all the people were in fear of the Lord and of Samuel. 12:19 [hgb] 众 民 对 撒 母 耳 说 ， 求 你 为 仆 人 们 祷 告 耶 和 华 你 的 神 ， 免 得 我 们 死 亡 ， 因 为 我 们 求 立 王 的 事 正 是 罪 上 加 罪 了 。 [kjv] And all the people said unto Samuel, Pray for thy servants unto the LORD thy God, that we die not: for we have added unto all our sins this evil, to ask us a king. [bbe] And all the people said to Samuel, Make prayer for us to the Lord your God so that death may not overtake us: for in addition to all our sins we have done this evil, in desiring a king. 12:20 [hgb] 撒 母 耳 对 百 姓 说 ， 不 要 惧 怕 。 你 们 虽 然 行 了 这 恶 ， 却 不 要 偏 离 耶 和 华 ， 只 要 尽 心 事 奉 他 。 [kjv] And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have done all this wickedness: yet turn not aside from following the LORD, but serve the LORD with all your heart; [bbe] Then Samuel said to the people, Have no fear: truly you have done evil, but do not be turned away from the Lord; be his servants with all your heart; 12:21 [hgb] 若 偏 离 耶 和 华 去 顺 从 那 不 能 救 人 的 虚 神 是 无 益 的 。 [kjv] And turn ye not aside: for then should ye go after vain things, which cannot profit nor deliver; for they are vain. [bbe] And do not go from the right way turning to those false gods in which there is no profit and no salvation, for they are false. 12:22 [hgb] 耶 和 华 既 喜 悦 选 你 们 作 他 的 子 民 ， 就 必 因 他 的 大 名 不 撇 弃 你 们 。 [kjv] For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people. [bbe] For the Lord will not give his people up, because of the honour of his name; for it was the Lord's pleasure to make of you a people for himself. 12:23 [hgb] 至 于 我 ， 断 不 停 止 为 你 们 祷 告 ， 以 致 得 罪 耶 和 华 。 我 必 以 善 道 正 路 指 教 你 们 。 [kjv] Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you: but I will teach you the good and the right way: [bbe] And as for me, never will I go against the orders of the Lord by giving up my prayers for you: but I will go on teaching you the good and right way. 12:24 [hgb] 只 要 你 们 敬 畏 耶 和 华 ， 诚 诚 实 实 地 尽 心 事 奉 他 ， 想 念 他 向 你 们 所 行 的 事 何 等 大 。 [kjv] Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you. [bbe] Only go in the fear of the Lord, and be his true servants with all your heart, keeping in mind what great things he has done for you. 12:25 [hgb] 你 们 若 仍 然 作 恶 ， 你 们 和 你 们 的 王 必 一 同 灭 亡 。 [kjv] But if ye shall still do wickedly, ye shall be consumed, both ye and your king. [bbe] But if you still do evil, destruction will overtake you and your king.
Chapter 13
13:1 [hgb] 扫 罗 登 基 年 四 十 岁 。 作 以 色 列 王 二 年 的 时 候 ， [kjv] Saul reigned one year; and when he had reigned two years over Israel, [bbe] *** 13:2 [hgb] 就 从 以 色 列 中 拣 选 了 三 千 人 ， 二 千 跟 随 扫 罗 在 密 抹 和 伯 特 利 山 ， 一 千 跟 随 约 拿 单 在 便 雅 悯 的 基 比 亚 。 其 余 的 人 扫 罗 都 打 发 各 回 各 家 去 了 。 [kjv] Saul chose him three thousand men of Israel; whereof two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and in mount Bethel, and a thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin: and the rest of the people he sent every man to his tent. [bbe] And Saul took for himself three thousand men of Israel, of whom he kept two thousand with him in Michmash and in the mountain of Beth-el, and a thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah in the land of Benjamin: the rest of the people he sent back to their tents. 13:3 [hgb] 约 拿 单 攻 击 迦 巴 ， 非 利 士 人 的 防 营 ， 非 利 士 人 听 见 了 。 扫 罗 就 在 遍 地 吹 角 ， 意 思 说 ， 要 使 希 伯 来 人 听 见 。 [kjv] And Jonathan smote the garrison of the Philistines that was in Geba, and the Philistines heard of it. And Saul blew the trumpet throughout all the land, saying, Let the Hebrews hear. [bbe] And Jonathan made an attack on the armed force of the Philistines stationed at Gibeah; and news was given to the Philistines that the Hebrews were turned against them. And Saul had a horn sounded through all the land, 13:4 [hgb] 以 色 列 众 人 听 见 扫 罗 攻 击 非 利 士 人 的 防 营 ， 又 听 见 以 色 列 人 为 非 利 士 人 所 憎 恶 ， 就 跟 随 扫 罗 聚 集 在 吉 甲 。 [kjv] And all Israel heard say that Saul had smitten a garrison of the Philistines, and that Israel also was had in abomination with the Philistines. And the people were called together after Saul to Gilgal. [bbe] And all Israel had the news that Saul had made an attack on the Philistines, and that Israel was bitterly hated by the Philistines. And the people came together after Saul to Gilgal. 13:5 [hgb] 非 利 士 人 聚 集 ， 要 与 以 色 列 人 争 战 ， 有 车 三 万 辆 ， 马 兵 六 千 ， 步 兵 像 海 边 的 沙 那 样 多 ， 就 上 来 在 伯 亚 文 东 边 的 密 抹 安 营 。 [kjv] And the Philistines gathered themselves together to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the sea shore in multitude: and they came up, and pitched in Michmash, eastward from Bethaven. [bbe] And the Philistines came together to make war on Israel, three thousand war-carriages and six thousand horsemen and an army of people like the sands of the sea in number: they came up and took up their position in Michmash, to the east of Beth-aven. 13:6 [hgb] 以 色 列 百 姓 见 自 己 危 急 窘 迫 ， 就 藏 在 山 洞 ， 丛 林 ， 石 穴 ， 隐 密 处 ， 和 坑 中 。 [kjv] When the men of Israel saw that they were in a strait, (for the people were distressed,) then the people did hide themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in rocks, and in high places, and in pits. [bbe] When the men of Israel saw the danger they were in, (for the people were troubled,) they took cover in cracks in the hillsides and in the woods and in rocks and holes and hollows. 13:7 [hgb] 有 些 希 伯 来 人 过 了 约 旦 河 ， 逃 到 迦 得 和 基 列 地 。 扫 罗 还 是 在 吉 甲 ， 百 姓 都 战 战 兢 兢 地 跟 随 他 。 [kjv] And some of the Hebrews went over Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. As for Saul, he was yet in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling. [bbe] And a great number of the people had gone over Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead; but Saul was still in Gilgal, and all the people went after him shaking in fear. 13:8 [hgb] 扫 罗 照 着 撒 母 耳 所 定 的 日 期 等 了 七 日 。 撒 母 耳 还 没 有 来 到 吉 甲 ， 百 姓 也 离 开 扫 罗 散 去 了 。 [kjv] And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him. [bbe] And he went on waiting there for seven days, the time fixed by Samuel: but Samuel did not come to Gilgal; and the people were starting to go away from him. 13:9 [hgb] 扫 罗 说 ， 把 燔 祭 和 平 安 祭 带 到 我 这 里 来 。 扫 罗 就 献 上 燔 祭 。 [kjv] And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering. [bbe] Then Saul said, Come here and give me the burned offering and the peace-offerings. And he made a burned offering to the Lord. 13:10 [hgb] 刚 献 完 燔 祭 ， 撒 母 耳 就 到 了 。 扫 罗 出 去 迎 接 他 ， 要 问 他 好 。 [kjv] And it came to pass, that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might salute him. [bbe] And when the burned offering was ended, Samuel came; and Saul went out to see him and to give him a blessing. 13:11 [hgb] 撒 母 耳 说 ， 你 作 的 是 什 么 事 呢 ？ 扫 罗 说 ， 因 为 我 见 百 姓 离 开 我 散 去 ， 你 也 不 照 所 定 的 日 期 来 到 ， 而 且 非 利 士 人 聚 集 在 密 抹 。 [kjv] And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash; [bbe] And Samuel said, What have you done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were going away from me, and you had not come at the time which had been fixed, and the Philistines had come together at Michmash; 13:12 [hgb] 所 以 我 心 里 说 ， 恐 怕 我 没 有 祷 告 耶 和 华 。 非 利 士 人 下 到 吉 甲 攻 击 我 ， 我 就 勉 强 献 上 燔 祭 。 [kjv] Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the LORD: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering. [bbe] I said, Now the Philistines will come down on me at Gilgal, and I have made no prayer for help to the Lord: and so, forcing myself to do it, I made a burned offering. 13:13 [hgb] 撒 母 耳 对 扫 罗 说 ， 你 作 了 糊 涂 事 了 ， 没 有 遵 守 耶 和 华 你 神 所 吩 咐 你 的 命 令 。 若 遵 守 ， 耶 和 华 必 在 以 色 列 中 坚 立 你 的 王 位 ， 直 到 永 远 。 [kjv] And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever. [bbe] And Samuel said to Saul, You have done a foolish thing: you have not kept the rules which the Lord your God gave you; it was the purpose of the Lord to make your authority over Israel safe for ever. 13:14 [hgb] 现 在 你 的 王 位 必 不 长 久 。 耶 和 华 已 经 寻 着 一 个 合 他 心 意 的 人 ， 立 他 作 百 姓 的 君 ， 因 为 你 没 有 遵 守 耶 和 华 所 吩 咐 你 的 。 [kjv] But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee. [bbe] But now, your authority will not go on: the Lord, searching for a man who is pleasing to him in every way, has given him the place of ruler over his people, because you have not done what the Lord gave you orders to do. 13:15 [hgb] 撒 母 耳 就 起 来 ， 从 吉 甲 上 到 便 雅 悯 的 基 比 亚 。 扫 罗 数 点 跟 随 他 的 ， 约 有 六 百 人 。 [kjv] And Samuel arose, and gat him up from Gilgal unto Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people that were present with him, about six hundred men. [bbe] Then Samuel went up from Gilgal and the rest of the people went up after Saul against the men of war, and they came from Gilgal to Gibeah in the land of Benjamin: and Saul took the number of the people who were with him, about six hundred men. 13:16 [hgb] 扫 罗 和 他 儿 子 约 拿 单 ， 并 跟 随 他 们 的 人 ， 都 住 在 便 雅 悯 的 迦 巴 。 但 非 利 士 人 安 营 在 密 抹 。 [kjv] And Saul, and Jonathan his son, and the people that were present with them, abode in Gibeah of Benjamin: but the Philistines encamped in Michmash. [bbe] And Saul, with Jonathan his son and the people who were with them, was waiting in Geba in the land of Benjamin: but the tents of the Philistines were in Michmash. 13:17 [hgb] 有 掠 兵 从 非 利 士 营 中 出 来 ， 分 为 三 队 ， 一 队 往 俄 弗 拉 向 书 亚 地 去 ， [kjv] And the spoilers came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies: one company turned unto the way that leadeth to Ophrah, unto the land of Shual: [bbe] And three bands of men came out from the Philistines to make an attack; one band went by the road which goes to Ophrah, into the land of Shual: 13:18 [hgb] 一 队 往 伯 和 仑 去 ， 一 队 往 洗 波 音 谷 对 面 的 地 境 向 旷 野 去 。 [kjv] And another company turned the way to Bethhoron: and another company turned to the way of the border that looketh to the valley of Zeboim toward the wilderness. [bbe] And another went in the direction of Beth-horon: and another went by the hill looking down on the valley of Zeboiim, in the direction of the waste land. 13:19 [hgb] 那 时 ， 以 色 列 全 地 没 有 一 个 铁 匠 。 因 为 非 利 士 人 说 ， 恐 怕 希 伯 来 人 制 造 刀 枪 。 [kjv] Now there was no smith found throughout all the land of Israel: for the Philistines said, Lest the Hebrews make them swords or spears: [bbe] Now there was no iron-worker in all the land of Israel: for the Philistines said, For fear the Hebrews make themselves swords or spears: 13:20 [hgb] 以 色 列 人 要 磨 锄 ， 犁 ， 斧 ， 铲 ， 就 下 到 非 利 士 人 那 里 去 磨 。 [kjv] But all the Israelites went down to the Philistines, to sharpen every man his share, and his coulter, and his axe, and his mattock. [bbe] But all the Israelites had to go to the Philistines to get their ploughs and blades and axes and hooks made sharp; 13:21 [hgb] 但 有 锉 可 以 锉 铲 ， 犁 ， 三 齿 叉 ， 斧 子 ， 并 赶 牛 锥 。 [kjv] Yet they had a file for the mattocks, and for the coulters, and for the forks, and for the axes, and to sharpen the goads. [bbe] For they had instruments for putting an edge on their ploughs and blades and forks and axes, and for putting iron points on their ox-driving rods. 13:22 [hgb] 所 以 到 了 争 战 的 日 子 ， 跟 随 扫 罗 和 约 拿 单 的 人 没 有 一 个 手 里 有 刀 有 枪 的 ， 惟 独 扫 罗 和 他 儿 子 约 拿 单 有 。 [kjv] So it came to pass in the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people that were with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with Jonathan his son was there found.
