海华沙之歌，长诗。美国朗费罗作(1855年)。海华沙是印第安神话中西风神的儿子,其母被西风神遗弃后含恨而死。长大后的海华沙在射箭、狩猎、角斗等方面具有卓越的才能。为了替母亲报仇,他打败了西风神。后又历尽艰辛,结束了部落间的混战,引导人民疏浚河道,消灭瘟疫,种植玉米,创建文化。最后他规劝各族首领听从白人牧师的传道,然后离开家乡。长诗塑造了印第安的民族英雄海华沙的形象。是美国文学中第一部以印第安人历史为题材的长诗。
